AUGUST 2001 (10 YEARS AGO) Spinks graduates from SMU Nearly 1,000 University of South Mississippi students were candidates for degrees Friday, during their 2001 Summer Commencement exercises. Southern Mississippi President Horace Fleming was to confer 504 under-graduates and 419 specialist degrees during two ceremonies at Reed Green Coliseum on the Hattiesburg Campus. The USM Golf Park Campus in Long Beach has another 71 candidates including 50 undergraduates. Candidates from West Feliciana Parish included Katherine Renee Spinks with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. |
